Ethical hacking will surely have a bright future with the world turning digital. Many sensitive information is now stored, exchanged, etc. in the digital world. Therefore the safety of these information from going into the wrong hands lies with the ethical hackers who can test these applications through penetration testing, etc. to uncover the various vulnerabilities and threats that a hacker can pose to the application. Therefore careful testing is necessary before the deployment. There are many firms that work in this field to help the application developers mine the various vulnerabilities to their product. Ethical hacking can also have a great future in law and order where cybercrimes are in the rise.

A certified ethical hacker can work as: 1) Network Security Systems Manager, 2) Network Security Administrator, 3) Systems/Applications developer 4) Security Executive, 5) Web Security Administrator, 6) Web Security Manager Job opportunities: Government agencies such as military and law enforcement agencies, defense organizations, forensic laboratories, detective companies, offer jobs for ethical hackers. Some skilled hackers can work for investigation agencies like the CBI, the National Security Agency and the Federal Bureau of Information (FBI) Companies like Microsoft, TCS, IBM, Airtel, reliance, Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. also employ ethical hackers.
