The prospects are huge, nowadays gaming is coming like anything. There are a lot of scope over here like Gaming is now used at Banks, for marketing, for education, to improve the IQ etc .Mobile gaming, iPhone gaming, and Social Gaming is the next-gen future. One can start his or her career as a gaming artist, game developer, game taster, game de-coder, porting etc. Another type of gaming is coming with a lot of scopes, X-Box, Nintendo, and Simulation Games.

A computer game designer usually works under the direction of a lead designer and may be responsible for drawing a family of alien creatures for a new game, writing the stories for those creatures or giving practical input about how the game runs-determining whether or not it is actually fun to play because the nature of the job is usually collaborative, computer game designers may be given a variety of tasks based on their individual talents or on what needs to be accomplished in any specific stage of game development.
