There are immense opportunities for an English and literature graduate in government as well as private sector. A graduate in English and Literature can pursue MA in English and Literature and appear for UGC NET exam and apply for Assistant professor in various universities across India. One can also appear for various government exams like SSC, Bank PO, State PSC and Civil Services. Apart from teaching and government services a graduate in English and Literature can go in reporting and Media, Content writing, Sales, Front Office, Advertising and Promotions, Public Relations, Customer Service and Airlines.
