Political science is one such specialization which will remain high in demand and short in supply with quality candidates. With major geopolitical risks, tensions and wars between countries and labor unions, cultural and political risks we can expect this specialization to come out as boon and solve majority of macro problems. The exhaustive list of career roles are mentioned below:- 1. Policy Analyst 2. Senator and Electoral Officers 3. Public relations Specialists 4. Social Media manager 5. Market Research analyst 6. Political Consultant 7. Attorney 8. Intelligence analyst 9. Student leadership and Activities officers 10. Lobbyist professional All of above job roles are of high importance and is the need of the hour in crisis management and balanced regulation of the country. Opportunity at abroad are though limited since, one may not have major insights into cultural and political challenge in foreign territory.

Political Science is the most diverse field in the Arts & Humanities section. And because of its diversity, you have plenty of opportunities available at postgraduate level. The chances of success at the undergraduate level are relatively less because of lack of experience and in-depth knowledge of the political world. In India, if you have done your Masters (Hons) in political science then surely you can work with any political party and also can work with any government agency. But when it comes to going abroad with your political science degree, the scope becomes much wider. There you can have research opportunity associated with it or if you have really great knowledge with exceptional work experience, you may apply for a govt. ambassador or diplomats for a government organization. Opportunity is huge, you just need to explore it and identify your interest. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
