There is no distinguishing factor between lateral entry and direct entry graduate in BCA as job opportunities are equivalent for both. One needs to master the subjects to be at par with others, however, as should have good command over IT Development and related expertise. One can target roles like Management Information System Analyst, Data Science Analyst, System Support Engineer, IT Presales, Java developer, App Developer, Workflow analyst, Big Data Analyst. Majority of IT and Telecom Companies recruit BCA graduates like Vodafone, Airtel, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Cisco, TCS, IBM, Oracle, Nokia, Samsung, etc. Overall one can pursue MCA as post graduation to take deeper dive into senior Technical roles like Program Manager, IT Procurement Manager, Cyberspace officer and so on. All the best.
