The Red hat certifications are a gold standard certification. It is designed for Red Hat and general Linux related skills such as system administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a leading certification course for Linux network administrators who configure networking services and security on servers running a Red Hat Operating System. India is a land of developers and there is growth of Red Hat in the Indian market, but unfortunately Indian Government and its organizations have not adopted it in large number. Red Hat India, the Indian unit of Linux software developer Red Hat Inc., has entered into an alliance with the Electronics Research & Development Centre of India (ER&DCI) aimed at promoting the Linux operating system in the government sector. Cost-effectiveness of the open source system makes it extremely practicable in the government sector in India, both at the national as well as state level and ensures growth of open source software within the government IT market through the years to come. Currently, there may not be very many opportunities, but it is likely to increase in days to come.
