M.Sc pharmaceutical chemistry or Master of science in pharmaceutical chemistry is a postgraduate pharmacy course. Pharmaceutical chemistry which disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where it is involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents (drugs). The duration of M.Sc in pharmaceutical chemistry is mostly of two academic years, but it varies from institute to institute. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years. The course is available both in full time and distance basis. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters and it an important and career orienting in nature.
