M.Sc pharmaceutical chemistry or Master of science in pharmaceutical chemistry is a postgraduate pharmacy course. Pharmaceutical chemistry which disciplines at the intersection of chemistry, especially synthetic organic chemistry, and pharmacology and various other biological specialties, where it is involved with design, chemical synthesis and development for market of pharmaceutical agents (drugs). The duration of M.Sc in pharmaceutical chemistry is mostly of two academic years, but it varies from institute to institute. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years. The course is available both in full time and distance basis. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters and it an important and career orienting in nature. Eligibility criteria: The candidates should have complete their B.Sc degree under any registered university in respective subject in science stream with biology, mathematics and chemistry. The marks of admission for this course vary from university to university. Below mentioned is the list of top colleges: 1. Guru Nanak Khalsa College. 2. S.P. Memorial College of Advance Studies. 3. Banasthali University. 4. Maharaja Ranjit Singh College of Professional Sciences. Below mentioned are the job types: 1. Scientist: Pharmaceutical chemistry. 2. Professor: Pharmaceutical chemistry. 3. Group leader: Pharmaceutical Segment R&D.
