Yes, civil engineering has huge scope considering the fact that India is a developing country and infrastructure is something huge things are happening and are in pipeline too . I would advise you to go further for specialization in this field too. like very few colleges and universities are offering Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure. I know one university called UTM, Shillong which is famous for the programs like this called Civil Engineering with specialisation in Infrastrcuture Development. Infrastructure is, in fact, one of the fastest growing field in India today. The booming economy is a result of bettering infrastructure in all spheres of industrialization.
