Biotechnology, is basically the fusion of technology combined with bio and medical sciences, therefore it welcomes aspirants from both the interests. When it comes to job prospective in India ,it is now a days a huge demand to develop medical sciences .With the large population and increasing demand in India, it is necessary to find a way out by creating a long life upgraded surgical methods . The neurological and genetics are the roots of biotechnology dealing at Nano cell level. One can go for a huge research with a government or a renowned private institution which will reward a huge amount if your research got accepted. Also there are many pharmaceutical companies which have a dearth of skilled biotechnical engineers. The overseas finds its huge scope and a high scale pay because of their more active response to the changing medical science and a large scale funding on the concerning issues. Hence if you want to come out your comfort zone and do something other than the crowd, find your ways in abroad. Or else you can pursue it in India too which will also give you better live prospective.

Biotechnology means any technological application that uses biological systems or living organisms to make or modify products or processes for specific use. Bio technologist can be employed in pharmaceutical companies, chemical, food processing, agriculture and allied industries. There is scope for cheap R&D through bio-partnering and co-developing technologies mainly with Chinese and American companies. More and more global pharmaceutical companies want to set their research and development centers in India. A biotechnologist students can explore job options in the following fields: Drug and pharmaceutical research, Public funded laboratories, Chemicals, Environment control, Waste management, Energy and Food processing industries. Some of the major companies are:- 1) Dabur India 2) Nestle India. 3) Parle. 4) ITC. 5) Hindustan Unilever. 6) Sudha milk industry. 7) Amul India 8) Rollick ice-cream. 9) Cadbury India. 10) Cipla pharma. 11) Galixo. 12) Ranbaxy etc. While government institutes and organizations such as Department of Biotechnology (DBT), several agriculture, dairy, and horticulture institutes may offer job opportunities to biotechnology professionals and here also one can get a good salary ranging between Rs. 12,000- Rs. 20,000 per month to an entry-level postgraduate. A skilled and experienced biotechnologist can get salaries far beyond his expectations.
