What are the job prospects in India as well as overseas for Instrumentation Technology?

Instrumentation technology finds a new place in the new culture of engineering in India. This branch is not much popular and is taught in few IITs and only a rare institutions in India. Although this finds a very practical application in the modern scientific and industry oriented world. The instrumentation technology forms the basis of the fundamental of measurement and processing. For example, the hydraulic shift in turbines, the up thrust and aerodynamic flow of rockets in aerospace industry and the pressure exertion and instrument related activity in research. Rather than job, this field finds a scope in the research and teaching field though the immense knowledge of the field would also take you to the corporate world. Every company appoints a group of instrumentation engineer for the working of the factories and manufacturing process. Though India has a lack in the field, we have a very less manufacturing setups in India. If someone finds the interest in the stream, one should definitely go with that because this industry needs more passionate minds and ready to reward beyond expectation.
