B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology while B.Arch is Bachelor of architecture. B.Tech is related to the field of engineering and technology and it has many branches. But B.Arch is a specific degree which is in the field of architecture. Some of the major differences are: 1)B.Tech is usually a 4-year course (some courses are of 5-years duration) and B.Arch is a 5-years course. 2)B.Tech deals with the technical aspects of engineering like manufacturing, production, development and application while B.Arch deals with the designing and development of the buildings including the interior and exterior. 3)After a B.Tech, one can find jobs in the technical fields like industries, manufacturing companies, and even IT sectors whereas a B.Arch graduation can find jobs in the construction companies, designing institutes, etc. 4)B.Tech has many branches like electrical, mechanical, civil, marine, industrial, chemical, etc. While B.Arch is a specific degree with no other branches. Both these are good choices for a successful career. It depends on the individual's interest in selecting any of these.
