Fashion designing is the art of application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion technology includes the application of aesthetics to accessories and clothing with a technical bent. In other words the difference between both is'Fashion designing is the creative field in which trendy and appealing apparels or accessories are designed and fashion technology covers the manufacturing process and involves a wide usage of technology in the production of apparels. ' Basic educational qualification for both is class 12th and for fashion technology you need to have PCM. For both you will be required to clear an entrance exam. Starting from taking orders from buyer to delivering the product to the customer, it covers everything. It may be sourcing, planning, quality, merchandising etc.
