There are plenty of jobs in this industry. The event management industry has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. There are plenty of events: weddings, birthday parties, talent hunt and reality shows, fashion and cultural shows, academic and sports meets, religious functions, corporate events, conferences and so on. An event can be of many different types and the event management industry is immense. From award shows to fashion shows, from birthday parties to Bachelor parties, from engagement parties to wedding receptions, from social gatherings to office parties, all these events need to have an event manager for the smooth proceedings of the said events. There are numerous other such events that would require an event manager specialized in that event type. An event manager would not only need to run the event successfully, but is also responsible of all things involved with the event from food and beverages to the performances, from the light and sound systems to the carparking and so on. Usually there are event management companies with an entire crew trained to handle certain events depending on how many people are invited to the event.
