The minimum qualification for entry to B.Sc (Agriculture) is Intermediate (12 years of school education) in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics) or Intermediate in Agriculture stream. Agriculture, one may also go for M.Sc Agriculture and take up a teaching job, or even go for Ph.D and build a career in the Research sector associated with the field of Agriculture. Therefore, B.Sc Agriculture offers a wide scope particularly in India where half the workforce is living on agriculture.
