The Retail Management is a relatively new discipline in our country. Presently, retail is the India’s largest source of employment after agriculture, accounting for 6 per cent of workforce. Retailers require people across functional areas such as sourcing, merchandising, product development, supply chain management, store operations & marketing. It has a very good scope presently & in coming years.
