Cloud computing is a Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. It is a model for enabling ubiquitous, on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., computer networks, servers, storage, applications and services), which can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort. Hadoop is an open-source software framework for distributed storage and distributed processing of very large data sets on computer clusters built from commodity hardware. All the modules in Hadoop are designed with a fundamental assumption that hardware failures are common and should be automatically handled by the framework. In order to have long term career in field of CSE, you are advised to do B.Tech CS/IT/ECE or MCA or M.Sc CS/IT. Currently there are good scope for computer engineer by specializing in Hadoop and Cloud computing. After formal education you can specialize in Hadoop and Cloud computing.
