Exam Pattern: The IBPS PO exam consists three phases of exams which include five subjects i.e. Quantitative aptitude, English, reasoning ability, general awareness and computer ability. The preliminary exam consists of 100 questions of 100 marks to be solved in one hour. The main exam consists of 200 questions of 200 marks to complete within 140 minutes. Candidates need to clear minimum cutoff marks in each subject in the main exam. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam and the candidates who will qualify the main exam will be called for the interview process. Final selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the main exam and the interview. IBPS PO gives a great opportunity for the career growth to the candidates. There are promotions held in every 2-3 years in the banks. So, one can get the higher posts in the bank as chairman in the service period. Also, banks provide various allowances and benefits to the candidates according to the government norms. I hope this will help you to know about the IBPS PO exam.
