Store Management is basically management of the Inventory. In any business enterprise there is a flow of materials. For example in a manufacturing company several raw materials are procured and the finished product is made using them in an integrated process. The process is continuos which means that the manufactuing operations are continued. For this a regluar inflow of materials is required and similarly the product made needs to be dispatched (through sales). Stock of these raw materials used in the process needs to be maintained. This is called Inventory. Similarly some stock of the finished good are also to be maintained to cater to a suddent requirement of any consumer / customer. Stores management manages all such inventory and commercial + technical aspects related to the storage.
