This is one of the classic ideas as Aviation is booming in India. Yet, I suggest you if possible do your pilot course abroad. There are 3 ways to become pilot after 12th in India. 1. Join in a DGCA approved flying school and complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) / Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and join as a pilot in an airline. 2. Complete your Bachelors in aeronautical engineering and then go through the above mentioned way. 3. Apply for exams like National Defence Academy (NDA) and become a government trained pilot with free of cost training. As of me, I suggest you to go through the 2nd way because once your aeronautical engineering is completed you are having a backup in life also you will be covering all the basics of aviation which is easy for you during pilot training and Interview. You may also find some other ways but these are efficient. All the Best for your future endeavours.
