NALSAR is one of the 18 participating national law universities in Common law admission test (CLAT) and admission in NALSAR is given only on the basis of marks obtained by a student in CLAT. NALSAR is among top three National law universities in the nation and it is very tough to get admission there. for Ph.D. and M.phill there is a separate admission test and you can read full eligibility criteria here:

for undergraduate and postgraduate courses admissions are given by CLAT UG and CLAT PG respectively. eligibility criteria to write CLAT UG you must have passed 12th with at least 45% marks and for CLAT PG you must be a law graduate with at least 45%. then you write CLAT and admission are given according to cut-offs of ranks of students.

Hey, Well in order to take admission in Nalsar-Hyderabad, you need to take CLAT both for LLB and LLM. You need to be eligible to appear in CLAT. For LLB, you need to have your class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks for general and 40% marks for reserved categories. Also, you need to be amongst the top 150 ranks to secure a place in Nalsar as after the 80 seats of NLSIU-Bangalore, admission for NALSAR begins for undergraduate course. For LLM, you need to have minimum 45% marks in your LLB from a recognized university under UGC and BCI. Also, you need to take CLAT PG exam and clear it. The ranks need to be amongst the top to secure a place in NALSAR. Beside CLAT, there is no other admission procedure available. So, mind well an prepare accordingly as a very good score is needed to land in NALSAR as it is a no. 2 NLU based on year of establishment as per CLAT.
