The major difference between both courses is that in B.Sc interior, the intent is to meet the expectations of the industry creating a symbiosis between technical, creative and artists whereas in B.Design, focus is on providing professional degree offering skills in practical interior design and execution and full-scale furniture design and fabrication through rigorous studio work and hands-on workshops. Moreover, B.Sc is of 3 years and B.Design is of 4 years.

B.Des is the undergraduate interior designing course. Well, Interior design is the study of interior concepts of techniques, organizing, managing, and planning, decorating the interior of the homes, offices, retail shops, hotel, showroom, theatres, airports and so on. Basically, B.Des is the study of creating an original design which involves converting artistic talent and creativity to designing the empty spaces with the choices and decoration of walls. B.Sc is the undergraduate interior designing course. Sometimes, it is known as B. I. D Bachelor of Interior Design. 3-4 years duration. The course in Interior Design is geared up to meet expectations of the industry, to create a symbiosis between theoretical, technical, artistic and creative areas. In practice, interior architects execute projects for myriad activities, including business and commercial establishments, places for recreation and hospitality, health and cultural institutions and residential interiors.
