What is the difference between B.Sc and B.Voc offered by CMI and The Hotel School respectively?

The Hotel School is a training hub partner of Tata Institute of Social Science- School of Vocational Education (TISS-SVE). B.Voc. in Hotel Management at The Hotel School is offered by TISS-SVE. TISS is a deemed to be University established in the year 1936 with a NAAC score of A+ which is among the highest in India. TISS is among only approx 60 Institutions which are been awarded Graded Autonomy by UGC under category 1. So Students can apply for this prestigious course from this leading institution without any doubt. However, please note that this is a work integrated training program or in other words, you can say industry integrated.

B.Sc in HM is not a UGC approved degree. CMI must be offering it in distance mode. It's waste of money. B.Voc has to be approved by State Technical Board and must be offered by the local regular university. You can check that with the institute.
