You can go for B.Sc. Biotechnology or B.Tech Biotechnology after your 12th with PCM. It might become quite difficult to survive in biotechnology because a PCM student is unaware of basic concepts of biology which are roots of biotechnology. Biotechnology is nothing but technical biology, where we use technology to develop or manipulate the nature's creation. In other words withe help of technology we exploit natures creation for the betterment of human life. A PCM student can be successful in biotechnology just by few things: 1. In the vacations after 12th boards, he should join some coaching or do self study of basic biology. 2. Understand the metabolic pathways of our body. 3. Watch some videos on YouTube that will develop your interest towards Biology. 4. Ask for help from your biology friend. 5. And definitely follow standard books of Biotechnology.

Dear, B.Sc in biology is pure science bases programme and B.Tech in biotechnology is technology based research programme but both are research bases programmes. At least, you should invest 8-9 years in education. All the best.
