There is no difference between the two degrees, at present. Both have the same syllabus and the same type of jobs to offer to you. Also, the companies which recruit you on campus do not discriminate between the two. Ideally, a B.E. course should be teaching you more about the concept applied in engineering, along with the domain fundamentals, while a B.Tech course should be teaching you the applications of those principles, fundamentals and other concepts. The two, however, have no such differences in reality, and you need not worry about any differences in terms of job prospects. As long as you're suited for engineering, you'll ace college examinations. Also, if you're concerned about job prospects, your personality and your communication skills are taken into serious consideration. Engineering is therefore an experience beyond your curriculum, and it changes how you go about things. Do let us know if there's anything more we can help you with. All the best!
