MBA is a degree course in management and PGDM is a diploma course in management. Today, PGDM is treated equivalent to MBA only but in MBA, you get a management degree and degree has higher value. But since both MBA and PGDM have same course structure, so there is very little difference and both are equivalent. Many reputed B-Schools are giving PGDM only.
