All the three branches, i.e. automobile, nanotechnology and mechatronics are specialized niche branches of engineering, which differ from each other. Automobile engineering, which is traditionally a specialization of mechanical engineering is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles, trucks etc. and their respective engineering subsystems. Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of science that includes a combination of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering. Nanotechnology is the study and application of extremely small things and can be used across all the other science fields, such as chemistry, biology, physics, materials science, and engineering. The career opportunities in all these branches varies. Automobile engineering has maximum job opportunities. Both, Nanotechnology and Mechatronics are developing field with limited job opportunities in industries with maximum opportunities in R&D.
