MBA is more of an American concept and the program requires the students to have more work experience. MBA courses in US have classes where students have average work experience of 5 years. PGDM is what Indian students are more familiar with. You can start a PGD with or without any work experience. That depends from university to university. PGD also has more theoretical approach to teaching while MBA is more practical course. Canadian PGD is a respected degree and should be beneficial to your career.
