In last few years, development in the field of Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine learning systems for business functions is increasing rapidly. Such systems are able to provide extremely accurate Management Information Reports and Decision Support outputs sometime superseding human efforts. However, field is yet to develop to replicate human intelligence and replace it. AI is as hot as it gets, and there is no reason to think, it will cool off any time in the future. Big companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Apple are basically building their entire organizations around AI technology. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is highly desirable for PG Diploma and post graduate’s degree in field of AI. Demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning specialists in the country are expected to see a 60% rise by 2018, due to increasing adoption of automation, says KellyOCG India. Accordingly, the average salary of AI professionals in India across industries are quite attractive. A 2-4 years’ experience commands a salary of 15-20 lacs INR per annum, while for 4-8 years, it is 20-50 lacs INR per annum and for 8-15 years, it is Rs. 50 lacs to Rs. 1 crore per annum. Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science that includes mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and others. Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. There is no one prescribed path to become a robotics engineer, but a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, computers and mathematics, or some combination thereof, would likely go a long way. A Robotics Engineer earns a starting average salary of Rs. 400,000 per year in India.

In India, the opportunities are good but it would be excellent for your career if you pursue this course from abroad because India is still not enough developed to conduct such high time consuming and very costly projects. You can go for following universities in India: (1) Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Exam applicable is IIT-JEE (2) Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Exam applicable is IIT-JEE (3) Birla Institute of Science and Technology. Exam applicable is BITSAT (4) Amity University, Noida. Exam applicable is AMITYJEE. Hence as per the exam mentioned you have to clear your 12th (PCM) with at least 75%+ and secure a top rank in that exam. I would suggest you to go for IIT-Kanpur for robotics learning.
