A database management system is a computer software application that interacts with the user, other applications, and the database itself to capture and analyze data. A general-purpose DBMS is designed to allow the definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of databases. DBMS can be used to manage transnational databases, such as HR systems, banking systems and so on. Database Developers are responsible for planning, managing and maintaining database management systems. If you do any of Computer Science or IT graduation degree, you will able to get skills to be database developer as part of degree syllabus in RDBMS course. There are multiple computer education/ training institutes which offer courses on Database development. Once you have basic knowledge after undergoing course, it is advised that for a good career as a database developer, you can work to get certification such as Oracle Certified Associate: PL/SQL Developer. Indian IT Industry major businessmen are Application Development and Maintenance. PL/SQL developers can easily find a job as a database developer. For a long-term career, it is advisable to gain IT or computer science graduation degree along with PL/SQL developer certification. There is no eligibility criteria to do PL SQL certification.
