The criterion for getting admissions is based on the college cutoff based on your CAT or MAT score or which ever score the college prefers. You can check out the cutoff list of various colleges on there website or by calling them. you will get an idea and hence with your score you can apply for the same usually the cutoffs are not based on steams, you choose your specialization in the second year.
