Investment banker is a fancy term given to those banking officials who handle investment in shares and mutual funds of corporate, government and HNI( High Net worth Individual). It requires deep understanding of finance and share market. Except top MNC banks like City Bank, HSBC, Merrill Lynch etc, no private or PSU bank hire Investment banker directly. Only those officers who have proved themselves during the service are given this responsibilities. The top MNC banks take MBAs from IIMs for these posts.
