A 5 year LLB is a course for undergraduates (+2) and a 3 Year LLB is a course for graduates. Admissions to an LLB course is based on the performance in CLAT Examination. CLAT stands for common Law Admission Test. To appear for CLAT examination, you should be citizen of india. Eligibility Requirements in brief are as under : The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream(for a 3 year LLB) from recognized university. The applicant should be score min 55% of marks in graduation(3 Year course). You should qualified in 12th standard with 50% of marks any discipline (5 Year LLB) and your age should not more then 20 years with relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates. The admission for LLB course on the basis on merit list in reputed law universities and state law colleges. Syllabus for CLAT examination comprise of Elementary Mathematic, General English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and so on
