The candidate should have either passed or appearing in 2016 for the Bachelor's degree examination. Duration of this degree should be a minimum of three years. The degree should be possessed from any the University of Odisha or from a recognised university as defined by UGC/AICTE. Or Should have passed or appearing in 2016 for the Bachelors in engineering, architecture or pharmacy exam. Duration of this degree should be a minimum four or five years in any discipline. Also, it should be from the University of Odisha or from a recognised University as defined by UGC/AICTE. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST category) in the qualifying examination. There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
