Scope is very bright if one can get admission in good MBA college and do the program. Many companies prefer to hire engineers with experience. Dual program of B.Tech+MBA is not considered a good option.

Like all traditional engineering +MBA, you will be able to join the bandwagon of administrative or management posts on higher side if done from reputed institutes like IIM, BITS, XLRI etc.
