Planning - It is the primary step for any of exam. By this means you can also give more time to your weak areas. Time Management: You should divide your time into all subjects. Pay more attention to your delicate items. It is not the best practice that you spend your most of the time for an individual topic. Plan for every subject. Check the complete list of PO syllabus topics first and time also plays a significant role in an exam, also divide the time correctly for all sections otherwise you will leave many questions in the exam. Step by Step Preparation - The Topic wise study is a recommended. You should focus on a single topic at a time. Don’t follow multiple topics at the same time. . Update Yourself: Improve English Grammar, Reading Newspapers, magazines, Watching News channels and other General Knowledge/Current Affairs books enhance your overall awareness.

Preparation can be of three types: self-study, self-study plus coaching, and only coaching. It depends whether you are a working professional or a student. So, if you are a working professional, you have to prepare either by referring to correspondence booklets, you can take an option of taking weekend coaching classes or you can buy some famous books used for the preparation of Bank PO, but if you are a student then you have a good amount of time to prepare so you can use the correspondence courses and books initially for self-preparation and later can join coaching classes for brushing up your preparation with added techniques. So, Bank PO exams have generally three sections-Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning & Data interpretation and Verbal reasoning along with the study of general current affairs. So, depending on your strengths, weakness and speed prepare the three sections accordingly and nail the exam.

Bank PO syllabus is very specific. It covers logical Reasoning, quantitative aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, general awareness. In an IBPS paper you can expect puzzles which are difficult, tricky and time consuming. So if you are having difficulty in solving or decoding Puzzles you should try solving 4 puzzles a day. Quant section would be of average difficulty. Verbal reasoning is mostly about comprehension and cloze test in IBPS papers. If you qualify for the final PO paper, then you would need GK regarding banks. PO final papers are tending to be more difficult compared to other colleges. Reasoning and verbal are scoring topics that you must study and should solve in limited time. GK would be regarding banks, mergers acquisition, international and national affairs. So it’s not just related to logic and quants but GK is also that important.
