The Indian Institute of Management is a new entrant in the elite league of IIMS. The institute is set up with the objective of providing quality management education while sensitizing students towards the needs of the society. The Institute also offers a two year weekend Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGPM) for working executives. Fellow Programme in Management FPM and Executive Fellow Programme (EFPM) are the two doctoral programmes launched in 2015 and 2014 respectively. Admission criteria is very dynamic for executive MBA program and keeps on changing year on year. IIMs take only relevant work experience into consideration. For example, suppose a candidate has a total experience of five years, out of which two years in Information Technology industry, two in operations and one in finance. Below is the detailed information about the minimum criteria- -In Graduation, minimum 50% is required. Minimum 5 years of work experience - Valid entrance score -SOPs stating everything important about the candidate - Reference of the people in industry/academics. Post this, a candidate is called for an interview. After the performance, review is based on experience and other qualities. A final score is prepared and offer is made to the candidates depending on the seats.

I would like to thank you for asking this question but you have not mentioned in which year you are and currently pursuing what stream. By the way, the procedure for getting into an IIM is to crack CAT (Common Admission Test) or GMAT above 95 percentile followed by GD-Pi & a minimum of 5-years of work experience is required. For application in CAT, you need to have 50% in the graduation. There is no specific time frame to start your preparation. Therefore, you need to understand your capacity and pulse in which possible position you are standing and what is the secret sauce for cracking the competitive exams. You should plan from the second year itself and start net practice.

The basic criteria for applying to the programme are: *Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent. *Minimum 5 years of work experience. *GMAT or GRE score. *SOP (highlight their future goals and achievements). *Two references. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview. The interview panel will consist of two faculty members of IIM-B and an IIM-B alumnus. The interview panel will evaluate each candidate's performance, on the basis of the quality of experience/diversity, leadership qualities and social sensitivities. The Admission offer will be made to a certain percentage (depending on the seat availability and satisfying the minimum cut-off for the composite score and/or for any factor score ) of applicants in the merit list based on their composite total score. Executive Programme in Business Management (EPBM) - Programme is equivalent to EMBA at IIMs are to help working executives understand basic concepts of management. It helps candidates to build and develop general management skills and management functional competencies. Courses have unique blend of theoretical knowledge and case discussion that equips future managers to develop deep understanding of required skills and their application. The general eligibility criteria are as follows: (a) Bachelor Degree or equivalent (b) A valid GMAT score (GMAT/GRE scores are valid for three/ five years from the date to the application deadline date of the round in which candidate is applying. (c) Some IIMs have minimum age criteria (d) Minimum 5 years of full time work experience after completion of graduation. Candidate selection is based on assessment based on following criteria: (a) Academic background (b) Professional experience (c) GMAT score (d) Personal interviews (e) Statement of Purpose (f) Recommendation An overall assessment is made on the basis of all these factors for selecting candidates for admission.
