Engineering entrance exams are college specific and not branch specific. There are numerous entrance exams for the thousands of engineering colleges in India. These exams include JEE, VITJEE, SRM entrance exam, BITSAT, MH CET, etc. Once you take these exams, you can appear for counseling and opt for BE/B.Tech at engineering colleges. B.Tech is offered by NITs, IITs and few other engineering colleges. Both BE and B.Tech are very similar.
