Exam pattern of JRF is as follows: Total question paper: 1 Major subject-groups: 20 question pattern: 75% Questions from Major Subject Group + 25% Questions from General Agriculture Question type: From Q. (1) to Q. (150) will be Multiple Choice type questions (MCQs) with four answer choice and from Q. (151) to Q. (160) will be Cross-Matching type questions (MCQs). Total Questions: 160 (150 MCQs + 60CMQs) Maximum marks:650 for each major subject-group paper. making rules: 1. For each correctly answered MCQs = 4 (four)marks 2. For each correctly answered CMQs = 5 marks (1 mark for each correct pairing) 3. For each incorrectly answered MCQs= - 1 (ONE) mark will be deducted from total marks scored. 4. For each incorrectly pairing answer of CMQs = 0.2 marks will be deducted from total marks scored. 5. For the question with no response = 0 Mark (and no negative marking for that question).

The Test will consist of three papers having objective type questions. Paper-1 is common for all. Other two paper are optional subject based. All the best.

The exam will be conducted in three different sessions for three Papers Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. Paper I and Paper II will be of 200 (100+100) marks with 50 questions in each section. Paper III will be of 150 Marks with 75 questions. Time Duration for Paper I and II will be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Time Duration for Paper III will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
