For doing MCA, mathematics is mandatory either in 12th or graduation. You are a commerce student (12th) and you have not studied mathematics in 12th but you will study mathematics in graduation if you choose BCA and would be eligible for doing MCA. The course emphasizes on the latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialized touch in the subjects studied in BCA. Eligibility: Students who have done their graduation in any discipline like Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, BCA / BSc IT/ BSc CS from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Aspirants should have studied Mathematics subject in the 10+2 standard or graduation level. The qualifying examination must be passed with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates). Admissions in MCA course is given on the basis of all India basis entrance examinations. Many top colleges and universities in India offer admission on the basis of merit list prepared as per the marks scored in the entrance test. Generally, the entrance examination is based on Mathematics and reasoning. There is a different exam pattern of each entrance test. The best colleges are: National Institute of Technology, Surathkhal Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad National Institute of Technology, Rourkela Lovely Professional University, Punjab VIT University, Vellore Birla Institute of Technology (BITS), Ranchi

You need to be any graduate with a minimum of 50 percent marks and must have studied mathematics and 10+2 and or at the higher level. The fee depends on the institute, it can be between 2 lakhs to 20 lakhs. Admission happens through CET, you have to appear for state CET or respective the institute's CET.
