The best time to do an MBA will be when you have at least 2 years of experience, so that you understand the industry domains and can utilize the experience to learn the new modules and concepts taught in class and hence in the next company you work for after an MBA. Also, many colleges give emphasis on work experience by giving extra weight-age or points to candidates with work experience (with around 2 years of work experience getting the maximum points). But practically speaking, there is no such best time to do an MBA, people have done MBA with 0 years of experience and even with 5-6 years of work experience in a 2 years course. So if you think, your growth is stagnant in your industry and you need a boost or a domain change, just go for it.

According to me, the best time is after getting two years experience in the industry. As you have already worked in the industry, it will be easy for you to understand the concepts taught in MBA and imagine their application in the real world.

After doing graduation there are two options job and MBA, but the best option for that span of time will be the job. Complete 2 years of job and then join MBA and that will be the right time. When you start your career there are very less chances that you go directly in Management. Company wants you to start from beginning to understand the culture of business. After job when you do MBA while studying you can correlate everything with your past experience and also your job gives an edge during MBA studies. You will get the best exposure and things which you have learned in job you will get to know how I can do this better now. During placements also it helps you to get a good package and profile as you are completed with all the stuffs that a company demands. You can work more efficiently and with MBA exposure you will know at primary stage only that how to implement this thing with management.

Hi The right time to go for MBA is when you pass your graduation. This is the right time if you are determined to get into MBA program. But if you are confident enough to give your 100% and crack the exams like CAT, XAT ; then you can prepare for your entrance exam for one year and get into top colleges like IIM etc. Some students first gain their experience from job and then go forstudying MBA. Hence the best time is when you complete your graduation and then pursue MBA. For MBA the minimum criteria is 50% in graduation. The more emphasis of marks is given to entrance exams. The good score in entrance exam will fetch you the top colleges in India like IIM , Xavier institute of Management etc. The minimum age criteria for MBA is 21years. So after the completion of graduation you can better connect with the subjects and excel in it. So it the best time for doing MBA and continuing your higher studies. All the best for future. It is unusual to start an MBA course immediately after graduating, unless there are special circumstances (such as you've been running or helping to run the family business since you were ten year old), and most accredited courses will require you to have at least three years' work experience before applying.

There is no right time to do MBA. It totally depends on you, if you are ready to do MBA after completing your graduation, it is okay in other case, if you do MBA after getting some work experience, then it gave you advantage that you already have practical knowledge, which is helpful for you.
