AAI exam is organized by Airport Authority of India for student who wants to join airlines field. Exam is for student who has completed their class 12th with at least 50% marks and having Diploma course in any of mechanical, automobile or fire course. Exam contains question from Basic Arithmetic, Basic Science, Elementary English and General Knowledge. There are total 100 questions to solve in 120 minutes. Exam is mainly for Group A, B, C, D category jobs. Various job profile for this exam is Junior Manager, Assistant, and Executive in field such as Electronic, ATC and fire services. Airports Authority of India (AAI) manages a total of 125 Airports, which include 11 International Airports, 08 Customs Airports, 81 Domestic Airports and 25 Civil Enclaves at Defense Airfields. AAI also provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) over entire Indian Air Space and adjoining oceanic areas with ground installations at all Airports and 25 other locations to ensure safety of Aircraft operations. Airports Authority of India (AAI) notifies its jobs for Junior Executive, Assistant, Manager (Electronics, ATC,Fire Services) etc. across India regularly and conducts entrance examinations. There are more than 18,000 personnel under AAI and it is continuing its recruitment, every year. Starting from the junior level, the AAI recruitment happens at all levels. The executive positions that are filled with engineering students are filled only based on GATE score. Other than these positions, there are several positions starting from administration to lower division positions. The candidates have to apply online through the official site of AAI.

Role of AAI- 1. In its preventive role, it carries out awareness campaigns wherein it creates sensitivity towards day-to-day matters having scope for malpractices and corruption. 2. Disciplining the defaulters from vigilance angle. 3. Plans and enforces surprise and regular inspections and inspections to detect the systemic failure and existence of corruption or malpractices. 4. AAI to keep pace with the latest developments, the policy proposes to allow the Authority to seek collaboration with global partners having experience in the relevant fields. AAI entrance exam- Airports Authority of India (AAI) conducts examination every year for available vacancies such as Managers and Junior Executives. Examinations are taken for different branches and for handling the responsibilities of 126 airports and 329 airstrips operated by the organization. Eligibility is 10th pass+3 year diploma OR 12th pass with minimum 50% marks.

Airport Authority of India, as its name suggest is a PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) authority which maintains, operates, is responsible for all the Airports in India. Airports Authority of India (AAI) was constituted by an act of parliament and came into being on 1st April 1995. The role and responsibilities of AAI is very crucial and designated. Its main functions are: (1) Design, development, operation and maintenance of international and domestic airports and civil enclaves. (2) Development and management of cargo terminals at international and domestic airports. (3) Provision of passenger facilities and information system at the passenger terminals at airports. (3) Expansion and strengthening of operation area, viz. Runways, Aprons, Taxiway, etc. (4) Provision of visual aids and many more.
