Marine Engineering has quite good scope in India, and may be even better than abroad. India has an increasing export sector which always creates demand for professionals in field. The salary package for a beginner can range from INR. 2.5 LPA to INR. 4.5 LPA.

The salary package of a second marine engineer is approximately INR. 1.5 Lacs per month and scope of marine engineering is very good in India. It is good sector, if you have interest in it.
