"Transportation Design or Automotive design is the profession in which you will learn about development of the appearance of automobiles by developing the visual appearance and creating the product concept.There are enormous opportunities for transportation designers. After completion of the course you can work as a designer for designing private and commercial automobiles, marine vessels, motorcycles, aircrafts, rockets or heavy weight transportation vehicles. If you pursue this course from reputed colleges then you will get good placement opportunities and based on your learning and knowledge you can grab good packages too. Some of the best institutes to pursue this course are: National Institute of Design Ahmedabad, MIT Institute of Design Pune, DSK International School of Design Pune, UPES School of Design Studies Dehradun & DYP-DC Center for Automotive Research and Studies Pune. Most of the entrances are already over to get admission in these colleges but you can appear in 2nd-3rd round of tests.like UPES has announced its next round of UPES-DAT test. You can check information on website of these institutes and apply whichever are accepting application forms.
