There is really nothing to do, as soon as you finish your graduation. You have to go another step, and do your Masters in Statistics, preferably from a good college (read ISI, IIT DU etc.). Once you have completed your Master’s degree, you have two options primarily - job market or higher studies. ISI, TIFR, IITs provide you huge scope of further research, and you can also go to foreign universities. If you are interested in job market, I am not sure, how the situation will be after 5 years from now, but currently, the Business Analytics and Data Sciences is a hot sector, and freshers from a good college can earn around INR 8 LPA on average in the first year itself.
