Bio Technology is still a developing field. Private business groups are investing in it. The number of job opportunities and package is low. Government sector also offers jobs. Starting salary may be between 2.5 to 4 Lacs per annum. You may find a job in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Chemical Industry, Agriculture, Food Processing and Technology as well as Research sector. You may even take up teaching jobs if you go for higher education.
