Indian IT industry's golden era is almost over. Majority if companies are struggling for new businesses due to geopolitics against IT outsourcing. Margin are reducing leading to job cuts at middle level more often. Also Indian IT industry is traditionally an Application Development and Maintenance shops. With increased productization, days of own application development is deceasing. Indian IT companies are still not investing to bring their own products. This is putting stress & challenges on IT industry. Indian IT industry will survive in 2020 but job opportunities will reduce. Only excellent CSE graduates of good engineering colleges will be able to survive in days to come. Age of mediocre CSE professionals is over.
