Engineering is important in today's world which is changing at a rapid pace. Its not just newer technologies taking on the older ones but also changes required to be made in applying these and making people aware about it. Sectors like power, infrastructure and manufacturing are most important pillars of any countries economy. Every branch offers good employment opportunity. Engineering is a design-oriented subject. Design involves problem solving. If you become a good problem solver, every branch of engineering offers you job opportunity. You are advised to go through the subjects taught in each branch and decide which branch is most interesting to you.
