There is a bright future for M.Sc graduates in research institutions like CERN CSIR IITS IISC ONGC etc. are always in search of good M.SC students. Of course, you should have good portfolio or else you have write exam like CSIR/NET. You can go for research abroad on your own but for that you have to build your portfolio for that to publish at least two papers. You can try for PhD in foreign institutions. There are also scholar ships programmes for PhD .

Hi. M.Sc. Physics degree can find employment in private as well as in Government sector. One can look for jobs in research labs, medical labs, academic institutions, IT field, technical field, automobile industry and various government-owned Scientific Research and Development Organizations. Other than these options a Physics graduate has the option even to step ahead for civil services for which one is supposed to clear civil service exams conducted by UPSC. Another option available for you is to qualify NET JRF and then apply for assistant professor in some state colleges or colleges affiliated to universities. Thanks!
