IT managers have huge opportunities to work in IT domain of any big company or directly in technology firms. Indian IT giants like TCS, Infosys, WIPRO, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, etc. hire MBA IT from top Indian B-schools for business development roles and offer attractive entry level salary. Foreign companies like Accenture, Capgemeni, SAP, HP, Cognizant, etc. also recruit MBA IT graduates. The role of IT manager includes planning, strategizing and implementing new software and IT projects. Many managers are also given responsibility to directly interact with foreign clients to understand their requirements and specifications over a project and many are absorbed under business development role. The post and salary varies as per ones experience and expertise gained in industry.
