Although it's a very interesting branch which involves ship, boat design, it's working and functioning process and calculations. All the stages involved in a marine vehicle to respond properly. But there is a less scope of it in India, as the jobs are limited and also only a few colleges offer courses in naval engineering (IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, Cochin University). So if you are very sure about the course and really want to pursue then only you should opt for this branch. There are limited jobs for the same in navy, also there is not much of scope of architecture related to the same. There are no underwater parks currently in India and none of them proposed to be built. But since the technology is changing at a fast pace may be in future this will be in demand.
